This Game Saved 2020

This picture was taken on the first day I had gotten Animal Crossing: New Horizons. My friend had gifted me some clothes as I was new and I still remember joining the ACNH community when it was peaking!

My friends had gotten it and I had some experience with Animal Crossing (if you count playing New Leaf on the Nintendo DS for 30 minutes just fishing).

In this picture, I placed down my first fireplace and stool and took a picture. I’m sure everyone has gone through numerous points in their island’s progress where we thought it was at its best and nothing can top it – to only realize that it can be better and that it was actually ugly!

This game, especially during quarantine, has made me reconnect with my friends and family through gaming (which I love)! You can chill on your island and enjoy the story or you can go on the more competitive field (yes, competitive) and try to make your island better than everyone else’s!
