My girlfriend and I live in different states (New York for me and Texas for her) and Animal Crossing became a frequent way for us to be “together” during the covid19 pandemic.
Together we cultivated our islands and built them into the places we wanted.
I am a big Back to the Future fan and so my island is named Hill Valley. Her island is called Sharkatraz, the title of a Shark Week B-Movie about sharks in the waters outside of Alcatraz prison.
Because we are long distance, I created this video for her as a gift using various video captures of us from throughout 2020.
The narrative is that I am alone and lonely on my island but then she comes over and we have lots of fun together:
